Our weekly gathering is the most critical event in the life of our church serving as the primary context for gathering in corporate worship and receiving instruction in God’s word. Generally speaking, Sunday mornings serve as the main setting for individuals to utilize their gifts of service.

LOGISTICS

Time: Hope Chapel meets at 10:00 am every Sunday morning, typically ending around noon.

Location: Our meetings take place in our church building, located in the strip mall on the Southwest corner of Vickers and Academy in Colorado Springs, just behind the Petco in the Berkshire Center. See the Directions page for further details.

Dress: We don't have a dress code. Most of us will be dressed casually.

Special Needs: Our facility is handicapped accessible and includes a discreet area for nursing mothers to care for their child.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Worship: At Hope Chapel, worship is a time of zealous celebration, passionate gratitude, and personal reflection for the undeserved grace God has so amazingly bestowed upon sinners like us. The Content-Rich songs we sing are Christ-centered and include praise choruses as well as hymns. Singing, clapping, lifting hands, kneeling, etc. all express our heart’s desire to worship God sincerely, accurately, and enthusiastically as directed in His Word (Psalms 47, 88, 95, 150 & John 4:24).

Teaching: Messages from our pulpit are expository in nature, meaning we intend to systematically preach through books of the Bible in a way that seeks to honor their context and original intent. You can anticipate sermons that are consistent with the truth of Scripture, communicated humbly, and relevant to your situation.

Children's Ministry: Enthusiastic teachers who love the Lord and love to help train up our children serve our Children from 5 yrs through the 8th grade. Our nursery is open for children under five for the entire service. See the Ministries page for further details.
